Welcome to the Women's Basketball Club!

Hi Everybody, Welcome to the Womens Basketball Club! We welcome players of all abilities!

  • If you're new to basketball, have played a little bit, or are a seasoned player, we want you to join us!
  • Women's Basketball has a strong community vibe, and we look after everyone- making sure you feel welcome and included.
  • We play competitive basketball in 2 different university leagues. We work hard to bring our beginners up to speed with the game and have a competitive element for more experienced players.
  • Even if you just want to play for the social aspect, come along to have fun!

When We Play

Training: Tuesdays 6pm-8pm, ***Starting Monday 23rd September***

Games: Wednesdays (BUCS) and Sundays (LUSL)

Venue: (For training & home games) Deptford Green School (Pagnell Street entrance, at Fordham Park Bus Stop P) Changing rooom Toilets & showers are available.

All Competitive players must download the BUCSPlay App and Join 'Goldsmiths Womens Basketball' - Watch a video tutorial > HERE 

All competitive players must also get a student player license with England Basketball. The link to do this is > HERE

*BUCS: (British Universities & Colleges Sport) / LUSL: (London Universities Sports League)

Taster Sessions / Waiver

During Welcome Week and Give It a Go week you will be able to attend our sessions at no cost! If you have not purchased a memebership product before your taster, you MUST complete a waiver form > HERE!

Sport Access Fund

Students who are experiencing financial difficulty are welcome to apply for the Access Grant. There is no deadline, but aplications will be reviewed on a 1st-come-1st served basis. To apply please click > HERE
