Welcome to the Goldsmiths Lions Cheerleading Club! 

Cheerleading is for you if you enjoy a challenge, have a background in gymnastics or dance, or simply want to try something new and make great friends. Cheer at Goldsmiths isn’t just a fun way to keep fit and learn new skills, it comes with a great social life - what we do isn’t just a bit of exercise it’s an all-round experience.

Anyone of any ability is welcome to join the team. As Legacy National Champions, Varsity 2023 and 2024 winners, competitive cheerleading with Goldsmiths Lions ditches the pom-poms and incorporates stunting, dancing and tumbling into a fast paced, high energy routine! We look forward to welcoming you to the team!

Taster Sessions / Waiver

During Welcome Week and Give It a Go week you will be able to attend our sessions at no cost! If you have not purchased a membership product before your taster, you MUST complete a waiver form > HERE!

Training

Where: Deptford Green School, Pagnall St Entrance, 61 Edward St, London SE14 6AN

Days & Times: Mondays 7pm - 9pm & Wednesdays 5pm - 7pm 

Competitions 

We compete in at least 1 National Cheer competition each year and also at Varsity. Details will be confirmed to team members in the first term.

Uniforms

Each member will be expected to purchase a personal uniform / kit. Details including pricing will be confirmed by the club President. There is a hardship fund to cover costs if you are fund this yourself (Details below)

Sport Access Grant

Students who are experiencing financial difficulty are welcome to apply for the Sports Access Grant. There is no deadline, but applications will be reviewed on a 1st-come-1st served basis. To apply please click > HERE
