The Student Union is concerned to hear of the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl, which passed through the Caribbean between Thursday 4 July and Saturday 6 July, causing devastating loss of life, injuries, and widespread damage to houses and infrastructure.
We wish to offer our heartfelt sympathies to those effected and acknowledge that many of our students will have family and friends in the region who will have been impacted
The Student Union, along with the University, is here to support anyone affected by these tragic events, with information on how to access the best support for you available on the Goldsmiths website.

If you are concerned about an immediate risk of harm – either to yourself or someone else - or if you need support outside the service hours, please telephone 999 or see student emergency and crisis support.
We note that there have already been some aid organising efforts by community groups in London, that students may wish to support.

The Student Union hopes that this aid, alongside that being provided by Governmental and Charitable Relief organisations, promptly alleviates the damage caused, and to ensure a rebuilding of the communities impacted.
