Hi everyone, my name is Swara Reiki January, and you can call me Reiki! I am a second-year undergraduate student in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths! I love singing, exercising, and watching anime!

Being an international student is tough. When you are living alone, you may have difficulties in every aspect of your life, studies are not excluded. Thus, we intend to make a peer learning session, at the very least once every two weeks. This peer study session will be available for all courses and will be broadcasted to every student in Goldsmiths. This will become a useful and wonderful learning opportunity especially for international students where English might not be our mother language. The concept of this is to have some people from the batch who are confident enough to share their comprehensive knowledge on a particular subject to a group of 7 or 8 people.

I am well aware that most of us love sports, and sometimes we want to just casually do the sports we like without having to commit to certain sports clubs. Thus, we are going to establish a weekly sport session near Goldsmiths! (potentially in Deptford school where students from Goldsmiths sport clubs train). We will arrange this properly and nicely and will book another venue to play sports in if Deptford Green becomes packed for the whole week.

Furthermore, we are all international students, and I know that one of the reasons for us to come here is to taste other cultures! Therefore, we will have to make a hotpot event that will allow us to taste the food of other cultures while also allowing us to promote the foods of our culture!

I know being an international student could sometimes be unpleasing, and that is why we have to make our times here in Goldsmiths be as pleasing, as effective as we can!

To realize these plans, I will not be able to do it alone without your help! So let's venture beyond what we could have achieved and create a new wonderful era by voting for me as your International Student Officer representative in the SU as our first step! Lets advance, everyone!
