As a mature student at Goldsmiths University, I understand the unique challenges that students from diverse backgrounds face. I believe in the power of student voice and the importance of a strong and effective student union. As Union Chair, I am committed to ensuring that the voices of all students, including mature students, are heard, and that the union operates in a transparent and democratic manner.

My goals are to foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the student union, where every student feels welcome and represented. I would promote student engagement and participation in union activities and decision-making processes. My goals are to ensure that the union operates in a transparent and accountable manner, with clear procedures for democratic complaints and code of conduct violations. As a mature student, I bring a wealth of life experience and a unique perspective to the role of Union Chair. I will work towards these goals by attending college council meetings and sub-committees, and ensuring that all voices are heard and represented, particularly underrepresented groups.
