Professional Staff Team

Location: New Cross, London
Contract Duration: Part-time, Permanent (21 hours a week, occasional overtime)
Salary: £29,000 per annum (pro rata)

Do you have experience creating and implementing technical or stage plans, working with Funktion 1 Sound Systems, handling heavy power supply systems, and mixing live stage performances?
If so, this role could be for you.
The Venues Team at Goldsmiths Students’ Union are looking for a new staff member to play a vital role in the delivery of events in the new academic year. Using industry standard tools and techniques, the successful candidate will learn to assess and distribute the sound and lighting elements required for a range of events, including concerts, comedy nights, club nights, and art installations.

Student roles
We're regularly looking for students to staff our shop, bar and cafe. We regularly hire students for less conventional tasks too - such as photographers, workshop facilitators and social media content creators.
Faculty Student Coordinator

As a Faculty Student Coordinator you will be the key liaison between students, academics, faculty and the university. You will aim to ensure students' voices are heard, represented and acted upon, driving positive change across the faculty. You will be at the forefront of student-led change within the academic system influencing positive change that will improve the student experience for both current and future students.
