What is the General Meeting?

The Union holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of its members once a calendar year. However, additional general meetings can be called if necessary by the Student Forum. This General Meeting has been called by the Student Forum so that students can vote on submitted motions that would benefit from greater input from the wider student body.

Students will also receive a report of work undertaken in the Student Forum.

All members of the SU (meaning all students) are invited to these meetings where they can debate and vote on critical issues facing the Goldsmiths’ student community.

If you are unable to attend:

You may appoint a proxy (meaning another student) to vote on your behalf.  All you need to do is to fill out the proxy notice form and send it to our democracy email address democracy@goldsmithssu.org by midday on the day of AGM.

Agenda:

Please find the Agenda and Submitted motions for AGM.
